I am going to try to update by mobile at least three times a week but, considering that my phone is always on me, it'll probably be more like three times a day. =3

word drabble; Sunlight

100-word drabble challenge

Sunlight

Melinda looked out her hospital window and watched the sunlight dance on the petals of the sunflowers, fittingly named for their penchant of looking like smaller versions of the burning star, seeming to attract the light from their namesake and dance in the warm breeze of a summer day- everything about this scene brought to mind warmth and peace. It was a nice mental image, and Melinda would hold it tight in her mind’s eye, relishing the imagined warmth on her skin even when the chilled air of fall began making it’s rounds, the needle slipping beneath her skin, the chemo therapy running shivers throughout her body. But for now there was warmth, for now there was a million miniature suns dancing just outside that hospital window- for now there was sunlight.

The Remedy by Michelle Lovric

Just finished the book The Remedy by Michelle Lovric and I give it five out of five- one of the best books I've read in a long time!
It took a while to get through this 43 paged hard-backed lady but it was worth it!
The characters are refreshingly original and entrancing and the plot has so many twist and turns it litterally makes you dizzy!
Excellent book!
I would recomend it to anyone so long as they have the time to devote it.
Cheers!

People can be so demanding some times..

If you're happy and you know it, do you really need to clap your hands to show it? Wouldn't a smile suffice?

Merry Christmas baby!
